Who I am.

I'm Brent Johnson, President of the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly, and I'm here to share our journey towards building a better future for Kasilof, Coho, Ninilchik, Anchor Point, and Homer.

With a decade of experience in the Assembly, I've been at the forefront of making our local government more effective and responsive to your needs. My deep roots in our community, from my education at Ninilchik High School to my professional and volunteer engagements, have shaped my commitment to serve each of you.

What I stand for.

I've been a commercial setnet fisherman in Kasilof for the last 57 years.  I'm deeply committed to sustainable fishing practices, promoting and protecting local subsistence, charter, & commercial fishing resources.

Education is the cornerstone of our community's future. That's why I'm dedicated to securing stable state funding that ensures every child in our region has access to quality education.

I believe in a government of Alaska that is by Alaskans, for Alaskans.

What I will do for you.

As we stand on the rich lands of the Kenai Peninsula, I advocate for responsible oil and gas exploration that respects our environment while bolstering our local economy. It's crucial that we harness our resources wisely to sustain our community's economic health without compromising our natural heritage.

How you can help.

I invite you to join me in this mission. Together, we can foster a thriving, resilient community that stands strong for generations to come. Follow this page and my social media for updates, discussions, and ways you can contribute to shaping the future of our beautiful peninsula.
